Piece for 6 performers
This piece is based on the concept of a series of endings—the final notes of a musical piece, the last danced movement, the end of a story, the exit from the stage, the conclusion of the performance, the end of a state, or the transition from one state to another.
Both didactic and playful, the piece is driven by transformations where the stage becomes a space of suspension. The scene morphs into a phantasmagoria, almost cinematic in its illusion.
In this creation, Joanne Leighton incorporates the text "Lecture on Nothing", a lecture composed by John Cage. Odile Duboc lends her voice to the French translation of the text, titled "Conférence sur rien".
